IRCTC to start Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra train from Prayagraj Sangam today; View Fare, Route, Other Details – Bharat Times English News

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is all set to start ‘Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra’ special train from 21st October today. The train will start its journey from Prayagraj Sangam station at Rs 10,395 per person for a 10 night and 11 day tour. . Under this package, passengers will be taken to visit four Jyotirlingas- Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Somnath and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga- Statue of Unity and Udaipur.

“A pilgrimage special train for darshan of all the four Jyotirlingas was started by IRCTC from October 24 this year, but soon all the reservations were completed. To meet the growing demand for trains on the same route, we have decided to restart the pilgrimage special train, which will run from October 21 to October 31. According to Hindustan Times. HT quoted him as saying, “This is the first time that this train is being operated from Prayagraj Sangam and passengers can board the train from multiple stations.”

Apart from Prayagraj Sangam station, passengers can also board the train at several stations throughout the route including Prayag, Pratapgarh, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Kanpur, Etawah, Bhind, Gwalior and Jhansi.

All about tour packages

The tour package will include non air conditioned sleeper class train travel.

A local bus facility will also be provided by IRCTC for sightseeing and lodging in Dharamshalas etc.

Pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided to the passengers in this special train.

Apart from the four Jyotirlingas, travelers will also be taken to visit Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, Bhent Dwarka Temple in Ahmedabad, Sabarmati Ashram and Statue of Unity in Baroda.

The train will also halt at Udaipur, where passengers will be taken to visit the City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari and Maharana Pratap Memorial.
