But despite the success of Shootout At Lokhandwala, Vivek recently told koimoi.com in a chat that he did not get any work for more than a year after the film’s release. Vivek said that he was surprised at the behavior of the industry since he was nominated and congratulated for the film, yet no one stepped in to offer him the job due to some ‘pressure’. “After the success of Shootout At Lokhandwala, I was sitting at home for a year and four months,” the actor told koimoi.com.
Disappointed with the industry, Vivek Oberoi said that he built his empire and brand which gave him a huge economic boost. And having done so, Vivek resolved to work with interesting people who were keen to work with him as well and who had new ideas to offer.
On the work front, Vivek Oberoi is currently seen in Amazon Prime Video’s show Inside Edge Season 3.
