Baby dies after ‘neglect incident’ at Legoland Windsor

A five-month-old baby has died after suffering from the disease Cardiac arrest at Legoland Windsor In a suspected case of neglect, Police Already said.

The child tragically died on Sunday after being taken to hospital in a critical condition following the incident around 1pm on Thursday.

A 27-year-old woman from Witham, essex, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of causing unnecessary injury to a child by neglect. He has been released on police bail till July 26.

Detective Constable Zoe Ealey, investigating officer from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: “We are investigating a worrying incident involving a very young child at Legoland Windsor earlier this week.

“First of all, our thoughts are with the family of the boy who tragically died in hospital after suffering a heart attack. We are supporting them as much as we can during these extremely difficult times.

“We are working closely with the team at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort but would like to speak to anyone who may have information about this incident, particularly anyone who was involved in the incident between approximately 11.30am and 12.45pm. Headquarters was standing in the queue for the boat ride.
