At least three killed in Paris shooting, several sites hit in Kurdish centers

Paris: Three people were killed and three wounded when a gunman opened fire in and around a Kurdish cultural center in the heart of the French capital, authorities said, throwing the city into edge two days before Christmas.

A 69-year-old male suspect, who officials said was previously accused of anti-immigrant violence, was taken into custody by police and taken to a hospital after the shooting, officials said. He said the suspect is being held on suspicion of murder, voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault.
