Police say Labor Ministry has taken over investigation into man trapped under steamroller whitbyOntario, Tuesday morning.
Const. Nick Gluckstein tells Global News executives Durham Regional Police Called to Hopkins Street and Consumer Drive around 11:30 a.m.
They said they arrived at the scene to find a “male pinned under a steamroller” at the job site.
Gluckstein said the incident was workplace-related and the Labor Ministry would investigate.
He said injuries or possible deaths could not be disclosed until the government investigation is complete.
