WASHINGTON — The White House plans to announce a visit by President Biden to Saudi Arabia on Monday, according to two officials who have direct knowledge of the plans, a prospect that has drawn criticism from members of Congress who have criticized the kingdom and its leader. There’s a scuffle.
Officials said Mr Biden will travel to Saudi Arabia next month as part of a wider tour of the region, which includes a stop in Israel. The agenda currently includes a meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salmansaid one of the officers.
