Staten Island yachts up for auction retired after price reduction

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — If you’re in the market for a new boat, there may be a fairly large boat up for auction in the city.

The recently retired State Island yacht after 50 years of service is now up for auction.

The John F. Kennedy Ferry was taken out of the fleet of boats that transport straphangers between Staten Island and Manhattan last August.

Until recently the yacht was listed for $250,000, but it was reduced to $125,000 – a steal!

As of now, there is only one bidder on the yacht and it is to be auctioned by Wednesday.

If you need a much larger boat, bidding details are available on the city’s public auction website.
