The Military Intelligence (MI) unit of the Southern Command in coordination with the state police on Sunday arrested a 21-year-old man, who was allegedly posing as an Army Major, in Ahmednagar district.
Along with forged army credentials, the investigators also claimed to have recovered a fake Intelligence Bureau appointment letter from him. Acting on a specific input from informers, MI officials along with state Anti-Terrorist Squad personnel detained the man, identified as Bharat Vithal Jagtap, a resident of Rahata taluka.
