Three bodies recovered in an area of Baja California may be those of two Australians and an American Went missing during a camping and surfing trip last weekend, the state prosecutor’s office said Saturday.
Local TV network Milenio, citing chief state prosecutor María Elena Andrade Ramírez, reported that although this had not yet been confirmed based on forensic examination, physical characteristics – including hair – meant it was very likely. More likely the bodies are those of three tourists.

“It is believed that (the bodies) are being investigated,” an employee of the state prosecutor’s office, who was not authorized to be named, told The Associated Press.
“The fourth body was located. It has nothing to do with the three foreigners. The fourth body was there for quite some time,” the officer said.
