Motorcyclist dies after County 30 accident near Campbellford: Northumberland OPP – Peterborough | Globalnews.ca

Northumberland OPP says a motorcyclist died after an accident near the city campbelford on Saturday afternoon.

OPP says emergency workers responded to a vehicle accident around 2 p.m. County Road 30 Just west of downtown, near County Road 35 – about 50 kilometers southeast of Peterborough.

The OPP said on Saturday evening that the lone motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

The cause of the collision is being investigated.

The OPP says that County Road 35 on County Road 30 will be closed for several hours.
