Hyderabad, June 22
A software engineer from Telangana was shot dead by an unidentified person in the US state of Maryland.
Nakka Sai Charan (26), a resident of Telangana’s Nalgonda district, died when a black man opened fire on him on Sunday evening.
His friends in America informed his family about the incident. Sai Charan, who was traveling in his car near Catonsville in Maryland, was shot dead. He was returning home after dropping a friend at the airport.
The technician was shot in the head. He was transferred to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead.
The software engineer had been working for the past two years at a company in Baltimore, Maryland.
His parents and other family members were shocked after getting the information. He has appealed to the Government of India and the Government of Telangana to help in taking the dead body home.
