Haryana reported 9,050 more cases, 7 deaths

The daily positivity rate now stands at 18.36 per cent in Haryana, which now has 46,720 active cases. Out of the total active cases, 40,095 are in home isolation and the rest are admitted in various facilities.
The highest number of 3,349 cases were reported in Gurgaon, 1,764 in Faridabad, 522 in Ambala, 510 in Panchkula and 403 in Sonipat.

Sonepat (two) and Gurgaon, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Bhiwani and Kaithal recorded one death each.

In Haryana, every eligible beneficiary has been given the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 77 percent have been given the second dose.

Of the 628 government ventilators, 608 are available while 1021 out of 1,045 in the private sector are vacant.
5,037 out of 5,160 government hospital beds with oxygen facility (other than ICU) are available, while 8,765 out of 9058 such beds are available in private hospitals. In terms of 508 ICU beds (with oxygen facility) in government hospitals, 485 beds were available while 23 were occupied; Of the 3441 such beds in ICUs in private hospitals, 3315 were available while 126 were occupied.

In terms of testing capacity, Haryana has the capacity to conduct 145300 tests per day which includes the testing capacity of 51 laboratories including 26 government laboratories and remaining private laboratories.
