Roads flooded in Chennai, ‘heaviest rain since 2015’
Rainfall on Saturday night and Sunday morning flooded several areas of the city including T Nagar, Vyapady, Adyar, Velachery, Royapettah and Mylapore. There were reports of flooding or water-logging in several parts of the city’s suburb Sholinganallur, including Jawaharlal Nehru Nagar, Madhavaram, Tondiarpet High Road, Northern Trunk Road, Royapuram, Teynampet, Khadar Nawaz Khan Road, Velachery interiors, on Sunday morning.
