- Chadmar Holi Of Mathura Created Atmosphere, Then People Played Bhasma Holi At Manikarnika Ghat In Varanasi
Holi festival has started. People are falling prey to it. On one side Chhadimar Holi was played in Gokul of Mathura. At the same time, Bhasma Holi was organized at Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi. During this, different enthusiasm of the people present at both the places was seen.
Chhadimar Holi of Gokul of Mathura is very famous. Here a large number of women reached the garden of Gokul with thick sticks in cowpea cloth in their hands. Around 200 women played Holi with the child forms of Shri Krishna-Balram. People from all over the country and abroad reached Gokul to see this wonderful and unique festival of Holi. Everyone played Holi with Gulal-Abir. During this the atmosphere became calm.
Holi is played so that Krishna and Balarama are not hurt.
In Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Nandgaon, Lathmar Holi is celebrated, but in Gokul, there is a tradition of Chhadimar Holi.

Bhasma Holi at Manikarnika Ghat in Kashi
Crowd gathered at the cremation ground of Manikarnika Ghat on the occasion of Masane Holi.
Varanasi i.e. Banaras ie Kashi’s Bhasma Holi is also very famous. People played ashes with the ashes of the cremation ground at Manikarnika Ghat of this lovely city of Rudra Mahadev, wrapped in ashes. During this a large number of people gathered at the ghat to play Holi. The city of Baba resonated with the slogans of Har Har Mahadev.
Many foreign devotees arrived in Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath, to see the Holi of Mashane. People were throwing ashes on each other’s faces. It is believed that on the day of Vishwanath Ekadashi, Baba himself comes here to play Holi. On the very next day, after worshiping Baba Mashan Nath in the form of Shiva, Holi of Chita Bhasma is played at the cremation ground.
