AOC calls Matt Getz a ‘bad haircut, cheap suit’

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez representative is called Matt Getz A ‘bad haircut in a cheap suit’ after a Florida Republican suggested that the suicide death of the son of Rep. Jamie Ruskin left the congressman bitter and unfit to serve.

‘What I worry about is for Congress and for Jamie Ruskin – no one would ever want to lose a child – especially to suicide. As a human our hearts go out to him but I think he takes that trauma and he connects it to his work in Congress now,’ Getz said on Rep. Marjorie Taylor GreenThe podcast of MTG Live.

Getz said of Ruskin of Maryland democrat and member of the House Committee January 6: ‘He is unable to do that personal trauma to Congress outside the dungeon.’

Ruskin’s son Tommy Ruskin died at the age of 25 on New Year’s Eve 2021 after battling depression.

Following the death of Tommy, Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y announced she would be a vegetarian for Lent to honor the outspoken vegetarian and animal rights activist.

Getz said of Ruskin, a Maryland Democrat and member of the House January 6 committee: ‘He is unable to do what Congress experiences outside the dungeon of that personal trauma’

Ruskin’s son, 25-year-old Tommy, was an outspoken vegetarian and animal rights activist who took his own life on New Year’s Eve after a battle with depression.

‘I think it makes him see everything and he’s kind of seriously blind,’ Gaetz said.

Gaetz said that he and Green had come to Congress to ‘uplift’, while Ruskin came from a sense of ‘complain or hatred’.

‘We come to work and we are here to uplift people. We love this country, we have not come here out of grudge or hatred. We love America.’

Gaetz continued, “It’s really as if his service in Congress is almost compounded by this tragic personal trauma and I think it clouds his judgment and we can see that.”

Gaetz said that he and Representative Marjorie Greene came to Congress for ‘upliftment’, while Ruskin was out of a sense of ‘complaining or disgust’.

Getz concluded, ‘the country should not go through all that with him.’

Green backs down from following Ruskin to the death of his son. He said, ‘It is a terrible thing that he went through but it did not change the fact of his political beliefs and I believe that he is a communist.’

Ruskin is a Democratic member of the January 6 committee, which is holding its first public hearing at 8 p.m. Thursday, with Republicans calling the committee’s work a political “sham”.

Getz himself is currently under investigation for obstructing justice related to the sex trafficking investigation.

Gaetz’s former friend Joel Greenberg, a Florida County tax commissioner, pleaded guilty to sex trafficking charges and is reportedly cooperating with the Justice Department’s investigation into Gaetz.

According to CNN, Greenberg has told the DOJ about encounters with women who were given cash or gifts in exchange for sex.

An ex-girlfriend of Getz’s testified before a grand jury earlier this year.
