Russia launched drone strikes on Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Dnipro regions overnight, wounding at least six people and damaging critical infrastructure, commercial and residential buildings, regional officials said Saturday.

The Ukrainian Air Force said Russian forces launched 13 martyred drones, targeting areas in the north-east and center of the country. Air defense units shot down all the drones, the Air Force commander said.

However, debris from the downed drone struck civilian targets in Kharkiv in the northeast, injuring four people and setting fire to an office building, the regional governor said.

Writing on the Telegram messaging app, Oleh Sinyhubov said a 13-year-old boy and a woman were being treated in hospital. Two other women were treated at the scene. He said that emergency services are controlling the fire.

In the industrial Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were injured, regional governor Serhiy Lysak said. He said a critical infrastructure facility and three houses were damaged.
