Twitter Inc. said on Monday that it had proposed settling a class-action lawsuit that began in 2016 by paying $809.5 million for claims.
The company did not specify what the lawsuit was about and was not immediately available for comments.
Twitter and the individual defendants deny any wrongdoing or any other unfair action, the company said in a regulatory filing.
