At least one person has serious injuries after direct hit But highway 35 South of LindseyOnt., Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:14 p.m., emergency crews responded to a collision of two SUVs near White Road just north of Pontypool village in the city of Kawartha Lakes.
The OPP said in a tweet that the highway was closed between the Wet and Ballyduff roads.
Police also said they are appealing for witnesses to the collision. Anyone with information — including possible dash-camera footage — is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Update:
Police issued a statement around 10:20 a.m. that the section of highway had been reopened.
