U.S. stock futures flitted between gains and losses as investors awaited a European Central Bank policy meeting and a public appearance by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.
S&P 500 futures were flat, a day after the index closed higher, ending a two-day losing streak. Blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average futures and futures for the technology-heavy Nasdaq-100 were also little changed.
