“These winds combined with freshly falling snow will reduce visibility in blowing snow today.”

Visibility is expected to improve for Monday afternoon as both wind and snow gradually decrease during the course of the day.

However, Environment Canada said travel is expected to be hazardous due to low visibility in some places.

According to Environment Canada, “If visibility decreases while driving, slow down, look at the taillights ahead and be prepared to stop.” “Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.”

The city of Saskatoon is expected to see 15 to 20 centimeters of snow on Monday, but will gradually reduce overnight into Tuesday morning.
