Just before the new year, a Regina couple won $1 million through the Western Max draw.
Tim and Janet Beller receive all seven winning numbers for one of the million-dollar prizes on December 30, 2022.
He picked up his ticket two days before at Save on Food at 4520 Albert St. S in Regina.
Tim said, “At first I didn’t believe it.”
He said he checked his ticket eight times.
“I sat there and then went around like someone hit me with a two-by-four!”
The couple has some ideas about what to do with their winnings.
Tim said, “I like golf, so maybe new golf clubs or a new truck.”
“I’m going to design a new kitchen for us,” said Janet.
