Prince Albert Police launch death investigation after weapons complaint globalnews.ca

Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) is probing the matter Death On Wednesday morning, a 29-year-old youth.

According to a press release, PAPS responded weapon complaint Thursday at 2:42 p.m. at his residence in the 700 block of 17th Street West

“Upon arrival, police found a 29-year-old man with serious injuries,” police said. “Parklands Ambulance visited the scene and determined to be deceased.”

The PAPS Forensic Identification Section was involved by the Criminal Investigation Division and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Office to investigate the death. Police presence is expected to increase for the remainder of the day in the block where the search was conducted.

Police said an autopsy would be conducted and would provide further updates as the investigation continues.
