OPP launches investigation into death in Norfolk County Globalnews.ca

OPP has launched death investigation after the body was found in Norfolk County home on the weekend.

At around 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to a report of a death at a home at an address on Mechanic Street in Waterford, Ontario.

“There is not believed to be a threat to public safety,” police said in a statement on Sunday afternoon. “Residents in the area under investigation can expect to see an increase in police presence.”

The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.
