Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu reached the Congress headquarters on Thursday to meet Congress general secretary organization KC Venugopal and general secretary in-charge of Punjab Harish Rawat.
Sidhu along with Punjab Police reached AICC Headquarters at 6.30 pm to discuss organizational matters related to Punjab Congress.
Sidhu is attending the first official meeting since posting his resignation on Twitter on September 28.
His presence at AICC Headquarters is an indication of his expected continuity in the post.
The Congress wants to finalize the state organization at the earliest and it is understood that the matter is being discussed with Sidhu.
The meeting lasted for an hour and continues.
