A unique and adorable artist in Massachusetts is painting to support a good cause. Jackson, a 3-year-old dog named after famed painter Jackson Pollock, is creating artwork with his paw with the help of his owner, Karen Pollock. Pollock is the director of community relations at the Springhouse Senior Living Community in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood. Springhouse Senior Living is participating in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Walk to End Alzheimer’s in October, so Pollack thought she’d get a jumpstart on fundraising with some help. “We’ll donate all the money to the Alzheimer’s Association,” Jackson said. Pollack said. “You can have your ‘Jackson Pollack’ who is also signed – but with an ACK, not an OCK.” Jackson dog art is on display at Springhouse Senior Living and is currently for sale in the senior community.
