London Police are investigating after a body was found in the River Thames near Ive Park in the early hours of Wednesday afternoon.

Few details have been provided by police, who were called to the scene around 12:30 p.m. in the River Thames Valley Parkway between the King Street pedestrian bridge and York Street.

“Upon arrival, a man was located in the river and the man was found dead,” said Konst, a London Police spokesman. Sandsha buff.

“The investigation has been reassigned to the members of our principal crime section…. We are appealing to the public. If you have any information that may assist us in this investigation, please contact us.”

Police will not provide any identifying information about the deceased. It is as yet unknown whether the death was accidental or caused by dishonesty.

Investigators closed a section of Thames Valley Parkway and Thames Street north of York for investigation.
