Hogan doubles reward for information about a deadly conflict in downtown Baltimore that killed a man

Baltimore (WJZ) — Governor Larry Hogan is doubling the reward for suggestions that lead investigators to the man who shot and killed 48-year-old Timothy Reynolds.

Hogan made the announcement in a social media post on Saturday. He said the state of Maryland would increase the initial reward from $8,000 to $16,000 for information that led to the arrest and conviction of the man who shot Reynolds after a confrontation in downtown Baltimore.

Reynolds, 48, was killed Thursday after being involved in a deadly clash with a squeeze worker at the intersection of Light and Conway Streets.

“It certainly has had a big impact on people who are afraid to come into town because they’ve been harassed for years and years,” Hogan said. “It’s the pinnacle of the city’s problem right off the Inner Harbor with someone to shoot.”
