Rourkela. Railway Board Chairman Vinay Kumar Tripathi reached Jharsuguda of Chakradharpur Railway Division on a two-day visit on Saturday. In this sequence, he took strict action on the officials regarding the passenger facilities at the station. However, his entire focus was on loading and increasing his potential on this section of South Eastern Railway.
In Sardega, the Chairman emphasized on the target of coal production during the current financial year 2022-23 and also brainstormed to know, understand and overcome the problem of coal transportation in MCL siding. The Chairman held a long meeting with the officials of Mahanadi Coalfield Limited. In this, the entire team of the zone along with GM Archana Joshi was involved.

Earlier in Jharsuguda, the Chairman cum CEO, Railway Board asked the officials to be ready to provide convenience and service to the passengers. He also inquired about the facilities available in the waiting lounge of the station premises including various departments and stalls. Also saw a stall of tribal clothes at the station. The Chairman also inspected the West Cabin Panel Room, Combined Crew and Guard Lobby of the station.
The whole arrangement was buzzing about the visit of the President. The officers under the leadership of DRM Vijay Kumar Sahu were deployed a month before the tour. Senior DCM Manish Pathak along with his entire staff was busy in improving the system so that there would be no ups and downs in the chairman’s visit. In Trivedi’s visit, the threat of performance of the Railway Minister and the strictness of the Chairman has been seen.
It is necessary to mention here that Chairman Vinay Kumar Tripathi has been very strict in the inspection of any Railway side. Like the Railway Minister, he also warns the railway workers that they should do the work properly or go home if they find faults in the railways. This is the reason that his visit to the Railway Minister is being taken seriously.
However, on Sunday, the President will inspect Bandamunda, Rourkela and other places of Chakradharpur Railway Division.
