Attacking the Congress over the arrest of some of his party leaders in Rohtak, BJP MP Arvind Sharma on Saturday threatened that “eyes will be taken out” if anyone tries to target former Haryana minister Manish Grover. . Sharma’s remarks come a day. Several villagers and farmers protested outside after Grover and some other BJP leaders were detained for hours inside a temple complex in Rohtak’s Kiloi.

The BJP held a protest in Rohtak on Saturday, blaming the Congress for Friday’s incident. Addressing a gathering of protesters, BJP MP Sharma attacked Congress and party leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda and said that Grover was targeted as Deepender Hooda lost the Lok Sabha elections because of them.

Sharma, MP from Rohtak, said, “There is no doubt that Rohtak Lok Sabha seat was won because of Manish Grover. will not be spared.”

After the arrest of Grover and some BJP leaders on Friday, it took hours for the Rohtak district administration and police officials to pacify the protesters before the standoff ended and the leaders left the premises.
