Two hours of free parking is available to holiday shoppers in several areas of Hamilton for the next month.

Perk valid through December 24 for shoppers at designated local small businesses business improvement areas (BIA) across the city.

Incentive BIAs include:

Ancaster BIA
Barton Village BIA
Concession Street BIA
International Village BIA
King Street West BIA
Ottawa Street BIA
Locke Street BIA
Westdale Village BIA

Meanwhile, Hamiltonians can take advantage of free two-hour parking in an area of ​​the city from West Avenue to Queen Street, Hunter to Cannon, and James Street from Charlton to Barton.

Dundas municipal lots are also free from 1 December to 31 December.

“All parking and stopping regulations must be followed at all times,” the city said in a release.
