Walt Disney The company is significantly increasing the price of its ESPN+ service next month, a blow to cord-cutters looking to save money by streaming sports programming.
The price increase, which takes effect August 23, jumps to 43%, from currently $6.99 to $99.99 per month, and from $69.99 to $99.99 per year. The entertainment company said that customers will be notified next week.
