LONDON: An Albanian who hid in a truck to Britain has told the Daily Mail he served lunch to the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip during Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Ismet Shehu, now 32, made the perilous journey at age 17 after traveling to Italy and then to France, where in Lille he crammed into the back of a truck bound for Britain.
Shehu entered the construction and hospitality industries after arriving in the UK, working low-paid jobs before signing up for a university course in London teaching high-end catering.
