Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar He never fails to spend quality time with his family and he is truly a family man. Akshay started his ‘khushi after’ journey in 2001 with actress and interior designer Twinkle Khanna. The couple has two children – Aarav Kumar and Nitara Kumar. Today, September 25, the Khiladi of Bollywood took to his Instagram handle to wish his daughter a very happy birthday. Sharing a cute click with his little girl, where Nitara hugs her tightly, Akshay expressed that there is no greater joy in the world than a daughter’s hug. Like every father, the actor also aspires that as Nitara grows up, she always remains his precious child. Akshay wrote, ‘Happy Birthday, Nitara – grow up, take care of the world, but always be your father’s precious child. I love you.”

Though Akshay and Twinkle prefer to keep their little girl away from the limelight, the latter often share pictures of Nitara’s activities. Known as Mrs Funnybones, Twinkle also adds parenthood stories by sharing these clicks.
The current month has been tough for Akshay as he lost his mother Aruna Bhatia on September 8, a day before his birthday. For some time, her mother’s condition remained critical and on the morning of 8 September she left for her heavenly abode. The actor wrote an emotional message to his fans to reveal the news. A day later on 09 September, when the actor turned 54, he remembered his mother through a heartfelt note.
Akshay has a few projects in the pipeline. From Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which also stars Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn and Katrina Kaif to Raksha Bandhan with Bhumi Pednekar, the actor has a busy schedule. He is also a part of Atrangi Re and Ram Setu.
