Celebrity chef Clodagh McKenna has given fans an update on social media after yesterday controversial today morning Section comedian specialty jimmy carr,
McKenna, 48, appeared in a segment with Carr popular itv chat shows on Friday (May 3), but the comedian was criticized for repeatedly interrupting every time he attempted to speak.
Viewers accused Carr of being “rude” and “arrogant” for upsetting the Irish culinary expert, who appeared on the show to give viewers a recipe.
On Friday evening, McKenna shared a photo of herself on set today morning Along with presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, she wrote: “One chicken, 3 recipes, one @jimmycarr, I’m officially ready for the weekend.

She also responded to a follower who wrote that she “needs a rest” after her experience on the TV show.
McKenna replied, “Cocktails are on hand in our pub at the moment.”
During the episode, Carr was seen making fun of McKenna’s pronunciation of certain ingredients, and also criticized her after the food was cooked.
At one point, Carr mocked McKenna over his alleged pronunciation of the word “thyme”, only for the astonished chef to point out that he had not mentioned thyme.
When the meal was complete, Carr said: “You could make it even better by leaving out broccoli.”

At the end of the show, O’Leary can be seen placing his hand on McKenna’s shoulder, commenting that it was “hard” for him to perform while being “harassed” by Carr.
“When @clodagmckenna was trying to write her piece today on @thismorning, Jimmy Carr’s childish behavior was so rude and disrespectful that he even took the P out of her pronunciation,” one viewer wrote on social media after the broadcast.
Another suggested that O’Leary and Hammond were clearly “suffered” by the segment, writing: “Well done for biting your tongue with Jimmy Carr’s rudeness.”
Carr has long been known for his controversial standup routines, many of which have been released on the streaming service Netflix. In 2022, Carr was widely criticized for a “disturbing” joke on the subject of the Holocaust.
