Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that he has directed the police to take strict action and arrest all the culprits responsible for this heinous act.
Haryana Police said that the officer laid down his life in the line of duty and will leave no stone unturned to bring the guilty to justice.
However, the main opposition party Congress targeted the Khattar government over the incident.
Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident. He alleged that the mining mafia was getting protection from the government. “Does the Chief Minister not know that the mining mafia is flourishing from Yamunanagar to Nuh and Mewat? Why is the government acting like a mute spectator?” He asked.
Surjewala said that a case of murder should be registered and all the culprits should be arrested.
Leader of Opposition in Haryana Assembly Bhupinder Singh Hooda alleged that law and order has collapsed in the northern state.
Former Chief Minister Hooda said, “We are saying time and again that common people are feeling insecure, and recently, many MLAs have also received threats. It seems that the government does not exist and the rule of law is not there. Is.” (with agency input)
