Zelensky visits the Eastern Front as Ukraine tries to repel Russian advance

KYIV, Ukraine-Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Sunday visited the front lines of fighting in the eastern Luhansk region, miles from where a Russian general was killed, highlighting the shifting military situation in the region.

Mr. Zelensky greeted troops at Lysichansk, one of Luhansk’s last cities, which the Ukrainians control completely and across the river from Severodonetsk, the center of the battle for control of the Donbass region, which includes Luhansk.
