According to people familiar with the matter, the Food and Drug Administration Juul Labs Inc. Is preparing to order the U.S. government to remove its e-cigarettes from the US market.

The FDA could announce its decision as early as Wednesday, the people said. The marketing denial order will follow a nearly two-year review of data submitted by the vaping company, which sought authorization for its tobacco- and menthol-flavored products to remain in the US market.
