Actress Vaani Kapoor is receiving a lot of praise for portraying Maanvi, a trans-woman, in her latest release. Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, On Saturday, director Abhishek Kapoor’s wife Pragya Kapoor penned a note for Vaani and praised her for her journey in films.
“We’ve come a long way V! From modeling together years ago to making a movie together… Wow, that sounds real! I’m so proud of you and everything you’ve become It is a pleasure to work with you and see you bring Maanvi alive. The pride I feel to hear all the accolades you are receiving is incomparable. In response to Pragya’s post, Vani wrote, ‘P!! I cannot express enough how much it is an absolute pleasure and privilege to bring to life Manvi’s vision of you and Gattu. Pragya’s post comes three days after Abhishek Kapoor celebrated his 15 years in Bollywood. The director marked his 15 years in the film industry with an Instagram post where he reminisced about his six feature films.
Abhishek Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana are celebrating the success of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The film released in theaters earlier this month.
