In separate incidents, two Russian women were found dead at their residence in a beach village in North Goa, police said on Saturday.
A senior police officer said 24-year-old Alexandra Javi was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her rented place late on Thursday, while the body of her compatriot Ekaterina Titova, 34, was recovered from her apartment. .
“They were staying at different places in Siolim village. No injury marks were found on their bodies, but we are probing both the cases from all angles,” he said.
The official said that the investigation conducted so far has revealed that the two deceased women were not related to each other. PTI
