Baghdad: At least two people were killed and seven wounded in a Turkish airstrike targeting Sinjar Resistance Units, or YBS, a militia affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party or PKK, in Iraq’s northern province of Sinjar, security sources said on Wednesday.
He said one attack targeted an intelligence headquarters and another targeted a civilian area, causing damage to nearby shops.
Videos on social media showed thick plumes of smoke and flames as people ran across the street, although Reuters could not immediately confirm the video.
