Onle has used a motorized scooter throughout her life after being infected with polio as a child and often draws on her lived experience while highlighting existing accessibility barriers.
He was appointed lieutenant-governor in 2007 and served for seven years.
Onley’s funeral will take place at 11 a.m. at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, with limited seating for the public beginning at 9 a.m.
