A suspected disabled driver has been arrested after hitting a construction worker Allen Road In toronto Police say the serious injuries occurred overnight.
Toronto Police said emergency crews were called to the scene around 12:45 p.m. Friday.
Police said a driver in a Volvo was traveling south on Lawrence Avenue on Allen when he lost control for an unknown reason.
Police said the vehicle hit a laborer working at a construction site.
The victim was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver over-corrected and crashed into a snow bank before the suspect was arrested for impaired driving.
