Amazon Prime Video on Friday announced the release date of Tamil film Jai Bheem. The film, starring Suriya in the lead role, will premiere on the streaming platform on November 2 ahead of the Diwali festivities.
Jai Bheem is written and directed by journalist-turned-filmmaker Koothal Oruthan fame TJ Gyanvel. It has an impressive supporting cast including Rajeesha Vijayan and Prakash Raj. Apart from acting in it, Suriya has also bankrolled the film under his production banner 2D Entertainment.

Jai Bheem is the third film of Suriya’s four-film deal signed by 2D Entertainment with Amazon Prime Video. The first was political satire Raman Andalum Ravanan Andalumwhich was released last month. second movie flying pirappe, starring Jyothika and Shashikumar in lead roles. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 14, coinciding with the Puja holidays. And the last movie Oh My Doog! Will release on OTT platform in December.
Meanwhile, Suriya is busy shooting for Itharakkum Thunindhavan, which is written and directed by Pandiraj. Her film titled Vaadi Vasal with director Vetri Maran is in pre-production.
