U.S. stock futures inched higher ahead of fresh inflation data that could help determine the speed and pace of interest-rate increases for the rest of the year.
Futures for the S&P 500 added 0.3% in premarket trading Tuesday. Contracts for the tech-focused Nasdaq-100 gained 0.3% and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose almost 0.4%. All three indexes have logged four consecutive sessions of gains.
