Today 26 July 2022 marks the 23rd anniversary of India’s victory against Pakistan in the Kargil War. On this day in 1999, the Indian Army successfully completed ‘Operation Vijay’ in Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir, ending a three-month war on the Line of Control (LOC).
