RIYADH: The Saudi Grain Organization has paid SR40 million ($10.6 million) to 70 local wheat farmers supplying allocated quantities for this season.
According to the SAGO statement, the purchase, payment of 24,290 tonnes constitutes the seventh batch.
It said that the total quantity of wheat received so far from farmers is 410,379 tonnes.
