Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating suspicious death and a Break in At a house 20 kilometers south of Stockholm and Esterhazy.
Police received a call after 4 am on Friday and preliminary investigation revealed that three people had entered the house.
One occupant of the home was found dead, and a woman was found injured and taken to the hospital.
Police said the suspects stole at least one firearm and the homeowner’s vehicle and fled the area.
The vehicle was later found abandoned and set on fire.
Officials say they have no further details as the investigation is in its early stages and is ongoing.
Anyone witnessing suspicious activity is asked to call 9-1-1.
