Sankranti 2022: Bonfire, cooking and cliques, Chiranjeevi records family’s Pongal celebrations
For Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi, this year’s Sankranti festival is all about bonding with family and spending quality time together. The extended Chiranjeevi family gathered for the ceremony with a traditional ‘Bhogi’ bonfire. The actor wished his Sankranti by posting a video scintillatingly documenting the Sankranti celebrations congratulating his brother, sister, children, nephew, niece and grandson Chiranjeevi as he pans the camera from person to person. ,
The video begins with Chiranjeevi saying, “Andariki bhogi sankranti shubhkankshalu (Happy Bhogi and Sankranti to all). Love to all of you,” before she captures the presence of the rest of the family on camera. ,
The roving camera played by Chiranjeevi captures his son Ram Charan, daughter-in-law Upasana, daughters, wife, brother-in-law Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind, the mega star’s mother, brother Nagbabu and nephew Varun Tej. The condition of Sai Dharam Tej, who survived the motorcycle accident, is improving. The first to appear in the video is actor Varun Tej who has wished all the fans.
As the family was celebrating around the bonfire, everyone was laughing, hugging and enjoying the festival. Chiranjeevi posted the video on social media and it is garnering an endless stream of views. Sharing the video, Chiranjeevi wrote, ‘Happy Bhogi. Happy Sankranti. Varun Tej also shared a video of his celebration, as he lights the bonfire, proceeds to make dosa with actor Chiranjeevi. In a witty joke, Chiranjeevi is seen trying to destroy Varun Tej’s dosa because it looks better than his. Later Vaishnav Tej and Sai Dharam Tej are seen standing in line to taste the lovely dosa. He captioned the post, “Dosa Making 101 with Boss! @chiranjeevikonidela #Bhogi2022.”
