One of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies, Rogers Communications on Friday reported network shutdowns across the country, affecting millions of its wireless phone and home Internet customers and disrupting electronic-banking transactions.
As of Friday afternoon, Toronto-based Rogers said it was making progress in resolving the outage, which was reported by some customers as early as 4 a.m. ET on Friday.
