Rob Gronkowski reveals why party habits were beneficial for playing career

Rob Gronkowski Was known for three things during his NFL career – catching touchdowns from Tom Brady, winning Super Bowls, and partying.

It’s been more of the latter over the past 12 months as the former NFL tight end held his Gronk Beach party in Las Vegas around the NFL Draft, hitting retirement Mohegan Sun in Connecticut in September, and is planning another Gronk beach party before Super Bowl LVII.

Gronkowski told “The Tonight Show” Monday night that his partying habits helped him on the field.

“Well, I’m taking my friends, you know, across the bar. I’m holding them. I’m lifting. I’m curling them,” he explained to host Jimmy Fallon. “They’re on my back, I’m jumping up and down. I’m dancing the whole time. Kinda like Austin Butler. I’m circling.”

Fallon asked Gronkowski how close he was to signing with the team this season.

“I’d miss it sometimes, but not really. Then I’d miss it for an hour, and then I’d go to work, and then I’d be like, ‘Nah, I don’t miss it. Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Star told Fox News Digital Earlier this month, he ignored some calls and messages.

He told Fox News Digital, “I know, man. I kind of ignore them.” “I laugh, you know. I send some funny stuff back, but it’s also very humbling. It’s great to be in that position and also have the thought of where you still want to be. Usually, the NFL In, you chew and you are immediately thrown out. You spit and spit, and so it is good to be in that position.

“I would say being one of the few to get a call to teams, and you can come back and play in the NFL. So, it’s definitely a humbling experience. But the mindset just isn’t there right now. And I’m just I enjoy my time.” And I’m very satisfied with where I am.”
